The information contained in this website has been adapted into print documents that can be viewed or printed directly from this page. These print documents consist of four fact sheets and a synthesis document.
The four short fact sheets correspond to the four transitions children navigate as they develop into healthy adults. The fact sheets are intended for community leaders, professionals, parents and other interested adults in families, communities, schools and workplaces. They are written in clear language and take a practical approach to how all sectors can work together to improve the well-being of children and youth.
The synthesis document will help policy makers and funders in the broad field of child and youth development better make sense of which policies should be created and which strategies should be funded. While this synthesis includes a lot of information, it does not pretend to cover all of the issues relating to the broad intersectoral field of healthy child development. What the document does do, is use this websites conceptual framework to logically organize a very large body of literature. Key points are referenced in the synthesis and a fuller set of references is available on this Wwebsite, by visiting the References page.
